The TTHD type bearing consists of a pair of thrust raceways, a set of rollers, and a retaining structure. Compared to cylindrical and self-aligning bearings with the same envelope size, this design can generate up to 40% higher load capacity.
One advantage of TTHD type bearing configuration is that it can ensure true pure rolling motion. The extension lines of the raceway and rollers converge at the same point (vertex) on the axis of rotation. True pure rolling motion can reduce heat generation and minimize wear on the raceway and rollers.
Size range
Inner diameter 34.925 mm to 1352.550 mm (1.3750 in. to 53.2500 in.)
Outer diameter 76.200 mm to 1524.000 mm (3.0000 in. to 60.0000 in.)
Design Features
The bearing is made of high-quality surface carburized bearing steel, which has a hard and fatigue resistant surface, while the core has good toughness and anti fracture ability, maximizing the working life of the bearing. Meanwhile, high-quality materials can also resist high impact loads in high load applications.
TTHD type bearings are capable of carrying high thrust loads and are designed for loading applications.
The pure rolling motion mode of TTHD bearings can adapt to higher operating speeds and minimize the occurrence of roller skew or slip to the greatest extent possible.
The special profile of TTHD bearings creates advanced geometric performance, minimizing the problem of edge stress concentration caused by high thrust loads to the greatest extent possible.
This type of bearing can be manufactured with better materials, special surface treatments, and higher precision as needed, further extending the bearing life.
The TTHDFL type bearing has a different design in the cage, with a flat thrust raceway for higher bearing performance.
